Biography

I am a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Master of Science in Exercise Science. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), author, and speaker. I am a former USA Boxing competitor, USA Weightlifting Certified Club Coach, and American Powerlifting Association (APA) Louisiana State Chairman and Referee. To date, I have published one article ("Feed the Machine: A No Nonsense Diet Susceptible to Increasing Size and Strength." Pose Down Muscle & Fitness Magazine Feb. 2008: 8-10.) I plan to seek publishing other manuscripts in the future.

With over 12 years of proven experience as a strength coach, career highlights include coaching two consecutive collegiate national powerlifting championships for Louisiana Tech University in 2000 and 2001, and training a number of world-class athletes for competition across the globe. Since 2007, I have held the APA Louisiana State Drug Free Bench Press Record with a 505-lb attempt at 220-lb bodyweight. I am also winner of the 2008 Louisiana’s Strongest Man Competition in the Lightweight (<231 lbs) Division. As owner of Pinnacle Performance Physique and Strength Sport Enterprises, I find great enthusiasm in promoting powerlifting and strongman events in south Louisiana.
